[StFX] STAT201 - New Lab dates and locations
Notification: Given that NH352 does not have a sufficient number of computers for the size of the class I have put in the request for the labs to be relocated to SCHW256, which should be sufficient. As such, please go to your respective sections on this site and look at what dates have been changed due to this relocation. Furthermore, as mentioned in class, we will meet at SCHW256 instead of NH for STAT201 on those three listed dates. I will leave a note in the classroom when
[StFX] STAT333 Assignment 1 Correction
Please note that for Question 5 there was a typo and that the intersections between (A and C) and (B and C) are P(A ∩ C) = 0.05 and P(B ∩ C) = 0.15, respectively and not 0.21 (typo), and yes P(A ∩ B) = 0.21 is still correct. However, for my mistake here's a hint, note the comment from my previous slides about proporties of probabilities and events, and that if E ⊂ F, then P(E ∩ F) = P(E). - Derrick #STAT333

[StFX] STAT201 Assignment #1
It has finally happened, your first assignment is here. You can find it under your respective sections. For those of you without access to the textbook, I have posted the following figure, which relates to the Empirical Rule, that will be useful for some of the questions that you will deal with - it is also in your respective sections (STAT201:11, STAT201:14): #STAT201
